Located on the popular Loire à Vélo an 800-kilometre cycle route, that runs from Cuffy (near Nevers) to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins (opposite Saint-Nazaire), this marking has been seen by numerous long-distance cyclists. The Loire à Vélo forms the western end of EuroVelo 6, an even longer European cycle route that passes through 10 countries and runs from the Black sea to the Atlantic.
